M Grade Licence Requirements
C or R Grade Licence Requirements
A junior C Grade or R Grade licence application will require the A003J Junior Driver Medical Examination Form to be completed by the applicant’s doctor. The completed form should be uploaded as part of the licence application, or alternately emailed directly to morgen@motorsport.org.nz.
Prior to applying for a C Grade competition licence, a junior driver is required to have obtained an M Grade licence (as above) and have clearances signed off from five(5) ClubSport Level events, or have obtained a signed clearance from a MotorSport NZ licenced driving school.
A junior driver may apply for a C or R Grade licence without firstly completing the requirement of obtaining an M Grade licence as above. In this case, application must be made to the MotorSport NZ Competition Licence Panel and should include a summary of the applicant’s previous motorsport history and results to that point. It is recommended that applicant contact the MotorSport NZ office prior to making any application.
