The Clerk of the Course finds that after a hearing and viewing video footage of the incident at turn 9 during race 22 car #67 has driven across the front of car 53 at turn 9 not allowing racing room. This has resulted in the cars changing sides where car 67 has moved across on car 53 forcing him across to the side of the circuit. This has been a continuing incident from the middle of turn 9 through to the start of turn 10. This is a breach of App 4 Sch Z Art 4.Z.5
The Clerk of the Course rules that Rob Whaley Car #67 be fined a sum of $350.00 and have 20 seconds added to his race time. Additionally his race licence is endorsed for three months from 26 February 2017.

The Clerk of the Course finds that after a hearing into the events leading up to the accident that stopped race 29 it is established that 1. Car #281 Geoff Hines braked to avoid the rear of another car and in doing so left the circuit, running parallal to it for a short distance. 2. Car #281 has then rejoined the circuit directly in front of car #74 resulting in contact which has pushed car #74 sideways into car #247 causing the accident. 3. It is clear from the hearing that this was not intentional but has had an affect on other competitors. This is a breach of App 4 Sch Z Art 10.2(1)
The Clerk of the Course rules that App 1 Sch P A4Z.7 applies. Geoff Hines car #281 be fined a sum of $200. No time can be added to the race results as the race was not restarted.
