The Race Director finds that an investigation was undertaken as a result of a post race inquiry, at Teretonga. The Driving Standards Observer checked film from #1, #51 and #69. You made contact with #1 during race 21. This is contrary to Schedule CH 26.1 Code of Driving Conduct- Forcing driver off track- not leaving sufficient room, causing avoidable accident, cutting in front of car following pass causing contact.
The Event Director rules that Penalty CH 40.16 applies- A Pit Lane Drive Through was complied with. 3 Licence Demerit Points. As it was not possible for the drive through to be taken, 50 seconds has been added to your race time in Race 21. As the penalty did not correct your placing in relation to #14 you are to be placed immediately behind him in teh results. As car #14 was DNF you are also classified as a DNF in Race 21. You now have 6 Licence Demerit points and are to be placed 6 grid places back for Race 5 (Timaru Meeting)- Schedule CH 40.5 applies.
