Auckland driver Chris Alexander returns to take part in his second Catlins Coast Rally when the event takes place on Saturday 12 August.

MRF Tyres have once again proven their worth at the fourth round of the Stadium Finance Mainland Rally Series, the Mag & Turbo Rally Nelson, with MRF drivers taking out three of the top four placings and four class victories.
The MRF attack was led by veteran driver Deane Buist, who took second outright in a Ford Escort despite having only two-wheel drive. Buist was also the top competitor in the Mainland series and first in Class C, topping off the day with a stage win in stage seven.
