The Assisstant Events Director-Investigations finds that having viewed film evidence and discussion with competitor Geoff Spencer #22 it is established that by maintaining your race line into turn 7 on lap 8 of race 4 and knowing that Ute #2 was along side you, you have forced Caine Lobb Ute #2 wide onto the track edge causing him to take evasive action. You admitted this was because your UTE was understeering into Ute #2. This caused Ute #2 to lose track position. You gained track position because of this. This was confirmed by Investigations Team. This is contrary to Sch CH 26.1 Code of Drving Conduct
The Assistant Events Director-Investigations rules that penalty CH 40.16 is imposed. 50 seconds is added to Geoff Spencer #22 race time. 3 licence demerit points. If this penalty does not correct your placing in relation to number #2 you are to be placed immediately behind him in the results. If your class has a revers grid for their final race - Sch CH 40.9 or 40.9.1 will also apply.
