The Championship Scrutineer provided a report to the race director that stated your car did not comply with the 2017/18 Schedule TL Part C 11.12(2) Carburettor insulating plate. The Technical Department have deemed this a performance affecting part. The thickness of your insulating place and gaskets found to be a minimum of 8.34mm, Article 2017/18 11.12(2) states that a total thickness of insulating plates and gaskets shall not exceed 8mm.. During the hearing it was explained that the part was bought off the shop shelf and installed in the car. It was also stated that the team did not measure the part and that it was a genuine error.

The Race Director finds that a technical infringement report was received regarding car 62 in conjunction with Sch TL 2017/18 part C 9.9(4) regulations watts linkage body mounts. It was found that car 62 had an adjustable shot not a duplicate hole, to clarify the mount has been charged from a fixed mounting hole to an adjustable mounting hole. Photos were made available during the hearing, one photo was taken at the start of the season and another was taken today, also this was checked at Taupo in Dec 2017 and photos showed that the mount has not been moved.
The Race Director rules that the adjustable part be welded before Teretonga to negate advantage. The mounts to be removed to confine with Sch TL before the North Island rounds.
