As a result of this the head was impounded for further inspection. The head is adjudged to have a height that is less than the standard part. This measurement was provided by Aaron Thornton, Championship Scrutineer, who is a Technical Judge (Article 3.1.3 (d)). The measurement has also been independently checked and confirmed by John Entwisle, Hamilton Cylinder Head and Engine Reconditioners - a statement was tabled. This head is therefore contrary to the requirements of Schedule SSSC Article 10.5 There was considerable discussion and presentation of figures that showed that there was no gain in compression radio. This conjecture was accepted by Arron. On this basis the breach of Article 10.5 is not judged as being performance effecting. It is noted that this is your second technical offence during this championship season.
