Veteran Ken Smith (Lola T332) made a winning return to the SAS Autoparts MSC NZ F5000 Tamsna Cup Revival Series on the first day of competition at the second annual Taupo Historic Grand Prix meeting at the lakeside city’s Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park this afternoon.

Callum Hedge has the provisional lead in the New Zealand Formula 1600 Championship as this weekend it heads to Teretonga Park in Southland for the third of five rounds.  It is a provisional lead, as the result of the final race at the previous round last weekend in Christchurch will now be decided through an appeal process, and not on the track.

Taylor Cockerton is a man on a mission and heads to the second round of the 2018 Castrol Toyota Racing Series with confidence of finishing on the podium and moving up the points table.  It has been a hectic week for the Kiwi driver having to fit in a quick trip to Malaysia for a one-day Audi R8 LMS Cup test before returning home to continue racing.
