MSNZ Office News December update
Dear Members,
Firstly we at MSNZ House would like to wish you all the best for the coming festive season. We have enjoyed looking after your motorsport needs and look forward to doing the same in 2008.
Office holiday closing times
The office will be closing to give the team a well earned rest from Friday 21st December 3 pm, and re open Monday 7th January 9 am. For urgent matters I will be contactable on mobile, 0274 438826.
Online Services
If your licence is up for renewal and you have an event in early January then please do contact us immediately. However you can renew Online using your user name and password as previously advised and noted on the renewal advice sent to you. Note after completing a renewal online you can also print off a temporary licence from the system as long as all the criteria have been met. This can be used as proof of a licence at events until we get the licence issued to you.
Don't forget to update all your personal profile while Online. Clubs can also update all the Club Officials and contact details Online. It's so easy and means you'll get all our eFlags to.
We have made progress this year with our Online systems. Just over 2000 licences were renewed in the first year and we hit the 10,000th logon this month. New ClubSport licences can be applied for Online now, tell a friend. AGCM Conference registrations Online and Permit Issuing Stewards are now able to issue permits Online to Clubs. We'll be rolling out more functions in this area next year to help Clubs and the Stewards with this important function.
Insurance premiums increase
One of the negatives we have had this year has been the large increase in Insurance premiums due to an increase in accidents in the past few years. This will mean an increase to Clubs in permit fees and therefore your entry fees, for ClubSport Advanced events held outside of the race track and all Rallies. Details of these increases will be advised next week. Please also note that the accident excess fee has also risen from $1000 to $3500. We are investigating whether Clubs can take out separate insurance to cover the excess if they desire. Clubs and members need the insurance to cover our public liability exposure and officials at events.
Many thanks to our volunteers
We would also like to make a special thanks, on your behalf, to all our volunteers that help make our events happen. The implementing of our RSR register in recognition of these unsung hero's was also milestone this year They are often out there in extreme conditions so make sure you do say thanks to them if you also get the opportunity.
Manual 34 Books One/Two and MotorSport News Vol 19
MotorSport News will be with you for Christmas reading along with Book Two of Manual 34, Book One was sent out 2 weeks ago. Note there are substantial changes to Appendix Four, Schedule Z to bring it up-to-date with the many amendments that have been issued against Manual 33.
Annual Deceleration

MSNZ Logo
The Executive have asked that we consider looking at a new logo for the sport. Do we need a fresh new image or are you happy with the current one? We would welcome you feedback on this. If you would like to see a new logo then give us your ideas and submit a design to us
