Hi Endurance competitors, crews and supporters
I regret to inform you that the SIERDC committee have had to make the disappointing call to cancel/postpone our 2009 SI Endurance Series, due to insufficient confirmed competitor numbers.
We are in negotiations with the host Clubs and hope to run the Series in September/October and I will let you know the outcome of this as soon as I can.
The host clubs are also looking at their options for their March/April meetings, and may run a 1 hour race or similar. I will also let you know about these as details come to hand.
All we can do is apologize to those who have already made arrangements for the SI series. I can assure you that your entry fees will be refunded from the host Clubs & your SIERDC memberships will carry forward to our next series.

For safety reasons, please note that the homologation of the
following competition seats, whatever their validity deadlines,
is withdrawn with immediate effect:
Manufacturer: Rossi Sports (ARG)
Model: Professional II
Homologation: CS.133.05
Model: Professional III
Homologation: CS.142.05
As these competition seats can no longer be considered to
comply with the FIA standards 8855-1999, their use in all
cases in which compliance with the above mentioned standards
is mandatory. This decision will be published in the next
edition of the FIA bulletin. |
