in 1975 with shareholding from MotorSport NZ and member clubs
with an intererest in rallies Rally of New Zealand has developed
and maintained a very high international profile for the sport.
Rally of New Zealand Ltd is charged by MotorSport NZ to advance
the sport of rallying in New Zealand through the establishment
and organising to the highest standards International Rally
Events which will form the basis of a top level of motor rallying
to which junior members may aspire. |

MotorSport Company Limited |
Established
in 1992 under the name of MotorRace New Zealand Ltd with shareholding
from the permanent race venues and MotorSport NZ the company
was originally charged with responsibility for the management
and promotion of the MotorSport NZ Race Championships.
In 2002 the company underwent a major review of its philosophies
and directions. WIth a new name it is responsible to MotorSport
NZ for the promotion of our motorsport championships and tasked
by the sport with promoting and commercialising our brand in
the marketplace. It is hoped that the company will in time become
the commercial arm of the sport using much the same structure
as other successful sports. |
